Hafner's old fashioned mix started after many customers would visit the Sky Club supper club over the years coming home to visit over the holidays. The guests all said the same thing. I hadn't had a Sky Club old Fashioned since I was here last year, I really wish I could make one at home or bring some with me...So after a few years of hearing the Owner Eric Freund decided to start bottling his famous and "Secret" Old Fashion Mix over the bar during the holidays. But the customers response was well received and Eric decided to start bottling and distributing all over the country. After a deciding on naming the old fashioned mix "Hafner's" after the Hall of fame bartender Jerry "Shifty" Hafner.. a local legend in the bartending scene the mix kept growing and demand kept increasing.
